Introduction

The Business Transformation & Operational Excellence World Summit (BTOES) Executive Advisory Board consists of outstanding and progressive leaders across key industries. Members are chosen who are at forefront of building cultures of excellence and reshaping the role of continuous improvement to prepare for the future, to transform their businesses, achieve top-line growth, and gain a competitive advantage. In their role as board members, they provide valuable insights, feedback, and guidance regarding the work and direction of the BTOES Summits and serve as promotional ambassadors. 

As a board member, you will provide insights, feedback, and nominate speakers for BTOES while gaining recognition as an industry thought leader.

We are only accepting two members per industry sector, so early application is encouraged.

An Overview of the Role of the Advisory Board

  • Provide three topic/session ideas in People, Process & Technology, including a title, introduction, and key takeaways.
  • Nominate two VP-level+ practitioners (from Fortune 500, S&P 500, or $1BN+ revenue companies) as speakers. Once nominations are received, we will vet and confirm their suitability. If the speakers do not meet the required standards, we will require additional nominations until two are confirmed.
  • Contribute three strategic ideas to enhance BTOES 2026, ensuring it remains the industry’s leading and most impactful event.
  • Nominate your EVP or Global Head of Operational Excellence to join the private Executive Level Forum at the summit.

Length of Tenure

Executive Advisory Board Members generally rotate on a two-year cycle. However, some can stay on for longer. 

Time Commitment Per Annum

  • Input by email or three 30-minute calls per year to discuss board initiatives. 
  • Participation in a kick-off meeting to align expectations and strategy.
  • Time taken to complete your role fully

Who Should Apply

We are seeking senior leaders who:

  • Are thought leaders actively driving transformation and operational excellence.
  • Lead successful programs with measurable impact.
  • Have engaged with BTOES in the past as attendees, speakers, award finalists, or winners.
  • Have a strong commitment to sharing insights and contributing to the industry.
  • Are available and willing to actively participate in the advisory board role.
  • Have the ability to nominate two VP-level+ speakers from companies with exceptional growth (Fortune 500, S&P 500, or $1BN+ revenue companies).
  • Meet the seniority criteria: EVP, SVP, VP, or Director-level executives with direct involvement in Business Excellence, Transformation, Innovation, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Strategy, Change Management, Customer Experience, Lean Enterprise, Process Optimization, and Capability Excellence.
